Planning and Design Review Board

The Planning & Design Review Board plays a pivotal role in ensuring the thoughtful and compliant development of our Village. Join us for our meetings, held on the first and third Monday of each month at 6:30 PM, as we collaborate to shape the future of our community.

 

Meeting Information

Meetings take place at Village Hall and are facilitated by the Building Permit Coordinator. For questions or to submit agenda items, contact the Building Permit Coordinator at Village Hall, Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Duties and Responsibilities

Our board is entrusted with several critical responsibilities to ensure development aligns with the Village's Code of Ordinances and Comprehensive Plan. These include:

  • Reviewing development permit applications to ensure compliance with the Village's Land Development Code.
  • Serving as the local planning agency, reviewing variance applications, and offering recommendations to the Village Commission.
  • Upholding the highest standards of design and planning to enhance the aesthetic and functional qualities of our Village.
  • The board is comprised of dedicated individuals appointed based on their experience and interest in planning and design. We strive to include diverse perspectives, including architects, businesspersons, engineers, general contractors or subcontractors, and licensed real estate professionals.
